Early Childhood Education Gets a Boost in Sunbury and Macedon Ranges
As a parent, there’s nothing more important to me than giving my child the best possible start in life. That’s why I’m thrilled to hear that grant applications are now open for kindergartens in Sunbury and Macedon Ranges to upgrade their facilities and technology.

According to a recent announcement, early childhood education providers in the area can apply for a share of $10 million to upgrade and improve their facilities or access the latest IT equipment. This is fantastic news for local families, who will benefit from improved learning environments and better resources for their children.
Modernising Kindergarten Learning Environments
Grants of up to $750,000 are available to eligible organisations for renovation and refurbishment projects that modernise and improve kindergarten learning environments for children. This is a significant investment in the future of our children, and I’m excited to see the positive impact it will have on our community.

In addition to the major grants, funding is also available for smaller-scale improvements. Up to $150,000 is on offer for minor infrastructure projects that improve the quality of kindergarten services. This could include anything from new play equipment to improved storage facilities.
Embracing the Digital Age
In today’s digital world, it’s essential that our children are equipped with the skills they need to succeed. That’s why I’m pleased to see that up to $2000 is available to kinders and eligible service providers to purchase computers, televisions, and other technology for use in educational programs and service administration.
A Brighter Future for Our Children
As a parent, it’s heartening to see our community investing in the future of our children. I’m confident that these grants will make a real difference to the lives of local families, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on our community.
