CATL Kicks Off a New Era in Energy Experience with NING Space

On August 10th, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) celebrated the grand opening of NING Space, the world’s first new energy experience center in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. This innovative hub is the result of a collaborative effort between CATL, various car manufacturers, and the local government. NING Space is designed to provide an immersive experience for consumers, allowing them to explore, learn about, and interact with electric vehicles (EVs) in a unique and engaging way.

A New Platform for Innovation and Success

According to Li Ping, vice chairman of CATL, the global energy transformation is driving significant changes in the automotive industry and consumer mindsets. To address this shift, CATL has partnered with carmakers to create a platform that bridges the gap between manufacturers and consumers. This platform is designed to foster innovation, mutual success, and a low-carbon lifestyle.

A Comprehensive Experience for Consumers

Luo Jian, general manager of CATL’s marketing department, highlighted the distinctive features of NING Space, which is dedicated to providing an all-encompassing experience for consumers. The 13,000-square-meter complex showcases nearly 100 models from around 50 car brands, offering a diverse range of EVs for consumers to explore. Additionally, EV experts are available to answer questions and provide tailored recommendations based on individual needs, budgets, and uses.

Promoting a Low-Carbon Lifestyle

NING Space is not only a platform for showcasing EVs but also a hub for promoting sustainable living. The center offers insights into the history and development of electric vehicles, as well as the latest innovative battery technologies. Furthermore, regular science workshops are held to educate visitors of all ages about green energies and EVs.

At the opening ceremony, CATL also launched its after-sales service brand, “NING SERVICE.” This network of 112 professional service stations and a robust training system provides high-standard services, including battery maintenance, health checks, and mobile rescue, ensuring a worry-free experience for EV users.

Expanding Services through Online Channels

To further enhance the user experience and expand service offerings, CATL launched a WeChat mini-program on the same day. This mini-program provides services such as charging station searches, exploration, selection assistance, and usage tips for EVs, as well as science workshops about new energy.
