Microsoft Unveils New Surface PCs with AI Copilot Button

Microsoft has introduced two new Surface laptops, the Surface Pro 10 for Business and Surface Laptop 6 for Business. These devices are powered by Intel’s latest Core Ultra processors and feature a dedicated Copilot button for quick access to Microsoft’s chatbot assistant. The addition of this AI feature aims to highlight the convenience of having generative AI readily available at the touch of a button.

Cutting-Edge Technology

The Surface Pro 10 for Business is positioned as the ‘most powerful Surface Pro ever’ thanks to its utilization of Intel Core Ultra processors. Additionally, users have the option to leverage 5G connectivity on Intel’s platform. On the other hand, the Surface Laptop 6 for Business is being marketed as the ‘ultimate laptop built for business,’ boasting enhanced thermal capacity to optimize performance from the Intel Core Ultra H-Series processors.

Targeted Audience and Availability

Both these devices are primarily targeted at enterprise customers and will be exclusively available through Microsoft’s official website and commercial resellers. The prices for these cutting-edge laptops start at $1,199 (~Rs 1 lakh) and can be configured with up to 64GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, catering to the diverse needs of business professionals.

Competition in the Tech Space

This launch follows closely on the heels of Apple’s recent announcement of the latest M3-powered MacBook Air laptops. Apple’s devices feature an upgraded Neural Engine designed to accelerate machine learning tasks, showcasing the ongoing competition and innovation in the tech industry.
