“We’re officially back in Germany,” Meyer-Wölden said on the podcast. “The kids and I decided, after a big family meeting where Oli was also present, that we would officially move back to Cologne.” This decision comes after months of deliberation, during which Meyer-Wölden was hesitant to uproot their children from their current environment.
“I had initially decided against it, because I didn’t want to take the kids out of their environment,” Meyer-Wölden explained. “But it didn’t really make sense. Mom and dad are professionally committed in Germany, and the kids are in America.”
