Windows Photos App Introduces New AI-Powered Object Eraser
Microsoft has unveiled a groundbreaking feature in its Photos app called Generative Erase, revolutionizing the way users edit images. This innovative functionality supersedes the traditional Spot Fix option, enabling users to seamlessly eliminate unwanted objects from their photos. Generative Erase empowers users to effortlessly remove distractions such as background elements and visual clutter, providing a more polished and refined final image.
The tech giant emphasized that Generative Erase offers significant advantages over Spot Fix, allowing users to erase larger areas with enhanced realism post-erasure. In addition to this cutting-edge feature, Microsoft also announced the availability of other AI editing tools like Blur Background, Remove, and Replace Background within the Photos app.

Microsoft has made Generative Erase accessible to Windows 11 users participating in the Insider program, with plans to extend this functionality to Windows 10 devices in the near future.
