Abaxx Exchange and Clearing House Selects Baymarkets Clara Clearing System

Singapore-based Abaxx Exchange and Clearing House has chosen Baymarkets’ clearing technology and platform, Clara, to power its newly-launched Commodity Futures Exchange and Clearinghouse. This partnership aims to support Abaxx’s initial suite of five new, centrally-cleared, physically-deliverable commodities futures contracts in liquefied natural gas (LNG) and carbon.

Hannover Re has partnered with Schroders Capital to launch a tokenisation pilot aimed at enhancing insurance-linked securities (ILS) investments. This initiative enables reinsurance contracts to be tokenised and traded on a public blockchain platform using smart contracts.
