West Georgia Technical College’s Fire Science Technology Program Receives National Recognition
West Georgia Technical College (WGTC) has been honored with the prestigious title of a Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) institution by the National Fire Academy. This recognition underscores the exceptional curriculum offered by WGTC’s Fire Science Technology program.
The FESHE recognition certificate signifies that WGTC’s emergency services degree program meets the rigorous standards of excellence set by FESHE professional development committees and the National Fire Academy.
According to the National Fire Academy, the FESHE Program collaborates with academic fire and emergency medical services (EMS) management degree programs to provide specialized training courses for fire officers, instructors, technical professionals, and allied professions.
